Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President of a non-asset, full service 3PL organization established in 2005 with an expertise in perishable and non-perishable food transportation needs.
Operations Manager will lead, manage, and hold accountable a team of Account Managers responsible for developing repeatable outsource solutions for the organization’s largest customers by understanding customers’ business, industry, and supply chain to provide solutions. Will train, manage, mentor, and provide career developments for Account Managers, identify and lead process improvements in coordination with project managers, and identify and lead cost savings projects. Challenge is to build and mentor a team and provide appropriate solutions on timely basis.

Background Required:
  • Strategic Account Management within Logistics (5+ years)
  • Management (Hire, Train, Coach, Mentor) (2+ years)
  • Mode of Transportation (i.e. Reefer, TL, LTL)
  • Verifiable growth track record
  • Pricing and Margin Integrity
  • Managed KPI’s (i.e. Customer Development, Profitability, Market Penetration)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
  • Residence: Minneapolis, MN
