Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, of a leader in fulfillment and logistics.
The Operations Manager Will manage 2 to 6 supervisors and around 50-70 employees, in addition to the production, safety, and quality of a 200,000+ square foot high volume B2C fulfillment center. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of productivity, safety, and accuracy, while ensuring cost and delivery commitments are met. Will provide “hands-on” leadership, coaching and mentoring of direct reports and indirect associates. Setting short-term and long-term objectives will involve collaborating with and supporting the leadership team. Objective is to optimize costs, maximize service levels while achieving operational excellence.

Background Required:
- Third Party Logistics Operations Management- Warehousing and Distribution (3-5 years)
- Pick & pack and shipping in a high volume, multi-client, B2C facility
- Development and execution of strategy / annual plans (budget, operational performance, SOP’s, customer plans, workshops, etc.)
- Metrics measurements (i.e., labor, quality, employee productivity and efficiency)
- Inventory and Labor Management
- Safety Program compliance (OSHA, Compliance Programs)
- Supply Chain Technology: WMS and familiar with ERP systems.
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Residence: Van Nuys, CA
- Education: Graduate Degree (Masters or MBA)
