Our client, a successful, privately held leader in the manufacturing and construction sector, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence for its thriving organization in London/St. Thomas. This key leadership position will significantly impact the organization by streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

The Operations Manager will ensure seamless coordination across key departments, aligning resources to deliver projects on time and maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

As a crucial member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Operations Manager will:

  • Oversee the Project Managers, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Drive process improvements by implementing efficient, standardized procedures that optimize productivity, reduce waste and maintain quality across all operations.
  • Monitor and manage operational budgets, controlling costs while aligning resources to meet financial and organizational objectives.
  • Champion a culture of safety and compliance by upholding company policies, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety standards, and fostering a workplace committed to accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities, streamline processes, and support the organization’s growth and long-term success.

To qualify for this exciting and unique opportunity, you will have:

  • Post-secondary education in Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in operations, with expertise in manufacturing and field installation environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, operational planning, and resource management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools, MS Office, and project management software.
