Operations Manager - Electrical / Multi-Trade
Our client is a leading multi-trade and energy focused contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality commercial and industrial construction services and a focus on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and energy. This group is currently in growth mode and looking to add the right team members to support the group.
Position Summary:
As this group is well positioned for growth, they are looking to add an proactive Operations Manager to lead and coordinate daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of multi-trade and energy projects with a key focus on electrical installations and services. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader to oversee project workflows, manage teams, and maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
-Demonstrated experience as an Operations Manager or the ability to learn the role.
- Previous expose directly in Electrical Contracting or Service in addition to some knowledge in mechanical.
-In-depth knowledge of construction codes, standards, and best practices.
-Proven leadership skills and ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
-Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
-Experience managing multiple projects in parallel with attention to detail.
-Proficient with project management tools and software.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily operational activities across all trades, prioritizing electrical project management and execution.
-Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and project timelines to meet or exceed client expectations.
-Lead communication between electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other trade teams to ensure efficient collaboration.
-Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory compliance.
-Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize operational efficiency.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
-Provide leadership, training, and performance management to project managers and site supervisors.
-Implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
-Troubleshoot operational challenges and drive solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
-Support strategic growth initiatives and business development efforts.
