Job Summary
To coordinate with inspection team to ensure and also accomplish client needs, timely delivery of services, monitor and record keeping while maintaining the service, quality and the reliability of our tubular products.
Job Responsibilities
- Must gain and achieve comprehensive knowledge of all relevant Company equipment, operating procedures and have a basic understanding of tubular operations.
- Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Company Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Standards and comply with all local Company Policies – HR & HSE.
- To ensure that all inspectors and parttime temporary personnel (inspector helpers) execute their jobs in the most proper and professional manner.
- Ensure that all pipe inspectors /parttime temporary personnel (inspector helpers) carry updated SOP/API Spec/DS-1 or other Specifications with them all the time and that the inspection is always done in compliance with applicable specifications.
- Liaison between customer and management to ensure smooth operations, service and product delivery.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationship through regular meeting and communications.
- Coordinate importation of equipment and inventory items and handle all relevant logistics.
- Ensure reports are submitted in time to customers with attachments as necessary.
- Co-ordinate with customer’s personnel to ensure trouble free operation and always maintain good and healthy relations with customer’s personnel.
- Bring the best corporate image to the customers.
- Liaise with customer representatives at jobsites and ensure that the needs of the customer requirements are met.
- Ensure reports, work orders and other quality related documents are done accurately and are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure the quick delivery of invoices to customers and payment of completed jobs.
- Maintain efficient and profitable operations with equipment and personnel in accordance with established good oilfield practices.
- Ensure that all equipment and assets be properly inventoried and maintained as per company’s requirements.
- Plan and conduct onsite inspection visits, organize regular safety meetings with the all pipe inspection personnel to ensure safe and smooth operations and keep record in compliance with company’s safety policy and procedures.
- Plan and co-ordinate necessary preventive maintenance program of equipment and up-keep of related documents in compliance with Company’s QA Procedures.
- Investigate near misses, accidents and incidents, advise immediate and underlying causes and recommend action to prevent re-occurrence.
- Manage efficiently company resources in all operations.
- Adhere to the guidelines and procedures of DS1 inspection as per DS1 Inspection Manual.
- Coordinate the movement of equipment with pipe inspectors for jobsites.
- Report to local manager about operational activities.
- Ensure that all required consumables, tools and equipment are available before commencement of work.
- Provide a safe environment to everyone who works with us including co-workers, clients and vendors.
- Be a positive force in the organization and treat all co–workers, clients and vendors with dignity and respect at all times.
- Ensure that all personnel are compliance at worksite of company, customer procedures and industry standards.
- Ensure that all pipe inspection personnel maintain general housekeeping at work site and base.
- Keep good relationship with all field personnel and customer representatives.
- Willingness to drive company’s vehicles.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma, or equivalent work related experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience with tubular inspection methods of drill pipe, BHA and DS1 procedural specifications
- Experience displayed and recorded which is applicable to the leadership role
- Internal promotion with minimum technical work experience at manager’s discretion
- Sufficient training and experience to be thoroughly familiar with the operational characteristics of company products
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Competent with email and MS Office.
- Must be certified in NDT and MPI inspections – Level II (Must have ASNT certified minimum level 2 in UT, MT, Dye Penetrant, MPI & EMI)
- 24/7 contact /availability expectations to customers and emergency work related issues.
- Must comply with Global and Local HSEQ guidelines and procedures
- Must demonstrate good work ethics in attendance, dependability, orderliness and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license – manual

Other Information
- Working hours (land): 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Required to work on weekends when called out)
- Call out /overtime as per agreement by company
