Operational Risk Manager

This permanent role is based in Brisbane and reporting to National Operational Risk Manager.

The key responsibility of this role is to participate in the development and implementation of the Work, Health and Safety Framework in the categories of OH&S, environment, business continuity, security and loss prevention, public liability and asset protection, and other areas of general insurance including workers compensation (claims and return to work)

Qualifications / Licences/ Experience
Diploma / Certificate IV qualifications in Risk/OHS/Environmental Management or equal qualification.

Proven experience in development and implementation of OH&S, environment, business continuity and enterprise risk management systems management

Current knowledge and practical application of construction, OH&S, environmental legislation

5 years’ experience and a solid track record in (preferably civil) construction

Proven written and verbal communication skills

Ability to develop and implement reporting, processes and procedures

Strong leadership, interpersonal and engagement skills

Due to the permanent nature of this role, we will only accept applications from Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents or Open Work Visa holders with more than 12 months validity from their role start date.
