Office Manager/Accountant

CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our client, an industrial manufacturing company based in Millville, NJ is seeking a highly organized Office Manager/Accountant to oversee daily office operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the office, providing administrative support, and executing on various bookkeeping and accounting duties. This role is fully on-site in the Millville, NJ location.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintenance of office records
  • Financial statement preparation and account analysis
  • Process payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership
  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts
  • Inventory management
  • Provide support and management to other administrative personnel

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience managing people
  • 3+ years' experience as an office manager or similar role
  • 3+ years of accounting experience including AP, AR, financial statement preparation
  • Proficient in QuickBooks
  • 1+ year experience processing payroll, preferably using ADP
  • Excellent calendar management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective schedule management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong administrative skills, with proficiency in office software applications including QuickBooks, ADP, Microsoft Office including Excel/Word
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Familiarity with human resources practices is a plus
