OFFICE MANAGER

Direct-hire role with our client south of Pittsburgh, PA.
Workplace type: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 remote)


Overview

Our client is seeking a highly trusted, experienced Office Manager to oversee payroll, HR administration, benefits coordination, and day-to-day office operations. This role is critical to the organization and requires discretion, consistency, and strong administrative judgment due to exposure to confidential employee and compensation information.

The Office Manager will play a central role in supporting employees across multiple entities and will serve as the primary point of contact for payroll, benefits, and internal office needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now
  • Manage employee onboarding within ADP (Workforce Now and Time & Attendance)
  • Serve as primary liaison with benefits broker for annual renewals and ongoing employee benefit questions
  • Oversee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, and retirement plan coordination
  • Maintain strict confidentiality related to compensation, benefits, and employee records
  • Support office and facilities management, including supplies and vendor coordination
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and general HR-related matters
  • Partner with leadership on administrative and compliance-related initiatives

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in office management, HR administration, or payroll
  • Strong understanding of payroll and employee benefits administration
  • Experience working with highly compensated individuals and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated stability and long-term tenure in prior roles
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and trustworthiness
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $75,000–$85,000
  • Discretionary year-end bonus
