Job Description

Our client, a financial services provider, based in Kenilworth Cape Town, is recruiting for a Personal Assistant/Office Manager to join their team on a half-day, 6 to 12 month contractual basis.

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 - National Senior Certificate
  • Valid Drivers License and own vehicle
  • Valid SA ID
  • Clear criminal record

Performance Areas Tasks/Functions:
  • Need to be technologically literate
  • Be good with numbers
  • Be a people's person and able to engage with people professionally
  • Be able to read legal documents in English and understand license requirements
  • Be able to prepare paperwork for the book keepers
  • Be able to submit applications for license / emigration / company formations
  • Be able to submit compliance reports to the FSB - basic insurance compliance work
  • Knowledge of opening bank accounts in foreign jurisdictions
  • Knowledge of the implementation of KYC / AML procedures
  • Read requirements for applications such as for the starting of companies / business licenses for different jurisdictions
  • Need to understand the difference between cryptos, futures, securities and derivative
  • Find out what are the requirements for payment provider licenses in countries like Taiwan, Philippines and Hong Kong
  • Submit payroll figures to accountants / book keepers
  • Submit bank statements to accountants / book keepers
  • Gather information for taxes from the banks and call estate agents if a property needs to be valued
  • Organise flights, appointments and visa’s
  • Update web content
Working Hours
  • Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 to 13:00 (20 to 25hrs per week)
  • Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days from home (can work more from office as choice)
Salary
  • R18,000 per month CTC
  • Annual Leave
