Bookkeeping:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Track and manage company expenses, ensuring proper categorization.
  • File taxes in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Office Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the office, including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate company events as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure necessary office equipment is in working order.
  • Support management with administrative tasks, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence.

Inventory Management:

  • Track and manage inventory of landscaping equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Work with vendors to order necessary supplies, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain an accurate log of inventory movement, including the receipt and distribution of materials.
  • Organize and label inventory for easy access and tracking.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, office management, or inventory control.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks) and office productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
