We are searching for an Office Coordinator to join our client's growing team.

As the Office Coordinator you will provide administrative support and customer service in the sales department, including:
  • Customer relations and retention, greeting customers
  • Communication with all levels of customers, act in a professional manner in all situations. Works well under pressure to meet customer's needs. Reacts quickly and responds appropriately.
  • Organized approach to work and work area
  • Demonstrate a good work ethic and is dependable
  • Perform general office administration duties to include answering phones, processing paperwork, preparing and sending UPS packages, ordering supplies and other similar duties.
  • Calculates payment amount, prepares and issues payment to commercial customers, ACH customers and third party freight reconciliation
  • Quote metal prices within a range supplied by management and/or verify correct pricing
  • Assist with month-end closing documents and regular auditing of position related forms
  • Willing to cross-train in other positions and assist when needed
Qualifications for the position include:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service and handling multiple projects
  • 2+ years previous work experience in cash, retail, accounting, transportation and/or customer focus field
  • Ability to work independently and with others and as part of a team
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible, supportive and adaptive to changes in direction, priorities and job duties
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and the ability to learn in house systems
  • Experience in non-ferrous material grading preferred
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Flexible to work off hours, weekends, holidays in an industrial environment which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work standing or walking for up to 12 hours per day
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
