Hire Standard is recruiting on behalf of a local sporting good retailer for the position of:

Office Admin / Bookkeeper: Retail Sporting Good Industry

Responsibilities

  • Daily Till preparation, cash and transaction balance
  • Invoicing and A/P
  • Issue and mail cheques
  • Payroll
  • Benefits administration
  • Month End and Year End reporting
  • Bank balance
  • Other office duties as required

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with QuickBooks and MS office suite
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Adaptable, dependable and level-headed
  • Willingness to take initiative and investigate errors
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Accounting related education an asset

We Offer

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm (30 hours) with some flexibility to the schedule
  • $25/hour
