Job Title: Ocean Export Freight Coordinator (English/Japanese)

Location: Delta, BC (Annacis Island)
Starting Date: ASAP
Work hours: 8AM to 4 PM (30 min. lunch break), Monday to Friday
Compensations: Starting from $45,000 – 60,000 (DOE) plus bonus subject to company discretion
Benefits: Extend Health (Dental and vision), RRSP, LTD, Life Insurance and AD&D
Vacation: 16 days (first for four years), 20 days (5 years and above)
Main Job duties:
- Receiving orders from clients
- Arranging Ocean freight bookings
- Completing trucking arrangements
- Documentation, billing, tracing, and some quoting
- General customer service.
- Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working (or education) in freight forwarding and/or ocean carrier sector preferred
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills are required on a daily basis
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese(business level)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Cargowise an asset, but not a requirement
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- A high level of mental alertness and urgency is required
- Ability to build relationships in person, via phone and by e-mail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Resourceful and able to multi-task and respond to a dynamic work environment
