Based in Northern Queensland

Our clients is a in a private practice in the hinterland and Whitsundays regions of Queensland, one hour drive from airport which connects to all major cities.

Responsibilities

The responsibility of this role is to work with the team to help individuals live a healthier life and enjoying their day to day activities with greater independence. The client base(50%) is working with children and their families.

All candidates must have:

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor/ Master of Occupational Therapy
• Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
• Minimum 2 year experience , preferably within community
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures impacting the delivery of service to people across all age groups
• Strong ability to maintain strong working relationships with patients and referrers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills (documentation, correspondences, reports).
• Current drivers license, own vehicle and willingness/ability to travel to participants.
• Working with Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
• Australian working visa and currently living in Australia
