OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
A full-time, permanent Lymphedema position helping patients manage their condition through manual lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging, and exercises to reduce swelling, improve range of motion, and increase functionality in daily activities. This Occupational Therapist will also work with patients to educate them about the causes and symptoms, as well as how to self-manage, perform self-MLD and proper skin care to prevent complications, protect the affected area, and monitor their condition. Join a collaborative multi-disciplinary team of 120 PTs, OTs, and SLPs across all divisions of the health system. Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and a passion for patient-centered care. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Master's/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- An active California license or the ability to obtain one
- Open to new grads and experienced therapists
- Coachable, with a desire to grow professionally
- Passion for Lymphedema with an active CLT certification, or willingness to obtain CLT
- Interest in candidates with LANA Certification as a Certified Lymphedema Specialist
- Desire to work with a team in a collaborative environment
- Visa Sponsorship is not available
