Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Stroke and TBI
Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Stroke and TBI
Occupational Therapist: Neuro-Rehab Specialist
You know that feeling when the West Texas sun hits the horizon and everything just feels right? That’s the energy we’re bringing to our rehab team. We aren’t just looking for a clinician; we’re looking for a compañero to join our state-of-the-art, free-standing sanctuary for healing. If you have a passion for neuro-recovery and a heart for the community, pull up a chair. Let’s talk about your future.
The Layout: Where Science Meets Soul
We’ve ditched the "factory" model. Here, you have the time to actually make a difference. No rushing—just quality care.
The Patient Mix: 65% Neuro (Stroke, TBI, SCI) + 35% Ortho (Amputee, Trauma)
Daily Rhythm: Only 6–7 patients per day. You own your schedule.
Balance: 7 hours of 1-on-1 care + 1 hour for documentation.
The Week: Mon–Fri (with just one weekend per month to keep the spurs sharp).
Why You’ll Love It Here (The "West Texas" Perks)
We take care of our own. From day one, you’re part of the familia.
Financial Freedom: Base pay from $75k – $125k + $10k in differentials.
The "Welcome Home" Package: Sign-on bonus + $3,000/year loan forgiveness.
Benefits on Day 1: No waiting periods. Health, dental, and 401k match from the jump.
The Mentorship Trail: A 60-day customized program for new grads or those transitioning to neuro.
The Landscape: 300 days of sunshine. If you love the outdoors, this is your paradise.
Are You the One?
We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist who values a diverse workforce and a low cost of living.
Experience: Inpatient acute or rehab is a plus, but...
New Grads: ¡Bienvenidos! We love your energy and we’re ready to train you.
Note: H1B Visa Sponsorship is not available at this time.
The Vibe: Life in West Texas
Imagine living in one of the safest large cities in the U.S. with a "big city" arts scene and a "small town" cost of living. Whether you're catching a Broadway show at the local theater or exploring the desert trails, your paycheck goes further here, and your life feels fuller. We aren't just treating patients; we're helping our neighbors get back to their lives.
Ready to Make Your Move?
Don't let this sunset pass you by. Submit your resume for a confidential chat. We want to hear about your goals, your passions, and what you’re looking for in the place you call home. Questions? Reach out to Jason Johnson at jason@np-hc.com.
