Cowtown Care with a Funky Flair: OT in the Fort
If you like your boots a little dusty and your coffee from a local roaster in Magnolia Village, you’re in the right neck of the woods. We’re looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a crew that’s as legendary as the Stockyards. We sit in a 450-bed medical center that’s been part of the North Texas soil for 125 years—we’ve got the deep roots of a community hospital but the high-tech "funky" brain of an academic powerhouse. In Fort Worth, we don’t do "cookie-cutter." We do character. And we’re looking for OTs who bring exactly that to the bedside.
The Gig: Quality Over Volume
Forget the "big city" rush. Around here, we prioritize patient education over productivity charts. You aren't just a number; you’re a specialist leading 5 to 6 evaluations a day across the whole hospital—from Med/Surg and Post-Op to the high-stakes world of the ICU and Cardiac units for our seasoned pros. You’ll be part of a massive, collaborative squad (5 OTs, 11 PTs, and a support team 17 deep) who actually have each other's backs.
The Schedule
A steady Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. With only one weekend shift every eight weeks, you’ve got plenty of time to catch a show at Bass Hall or grab a cold one in the Near Southside.
The "New Frontier" Benefits
We’re putting a real stake in the ground for your future. Whether you’re a New Grad looking for a "Buddy System" preceptor or a veteran looking for a new trail, we’ve got you:
The Pay: $69,000 – $117,500 base (depending on your "trail miles")
The Bonuses: Sign-on cash AND relocation assistance to get you to Cowtown
The Debt Relief: Loan forgiveness to help clear those horizons
The Security: 401k with a match and full benefits that start when you do
Life in the Funky City
Why Fort Worth? Because you can go from a world-class art museum to a live rodeo in fifteen minutes flat. It’s the mid-sized metro that still feels like a neighborhood. It’s affordable, it’s vibrant, and it’s filled with folks who say "sir" and "ma'am" while wearing avant-garde local fashion. From hiking the Trinity Trails to exploring the local food scene, your life outside the hospital will be just as rewarding as the lives you’re changing inside it.
Requirements:
Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist
Acute care experience is preferred
New graduate Occupational Therapists invited to apply
Great attitude with strong interest in working on a large team
A drive to grow into specialty work is a plus
H1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available
