We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to help individuals with physical disabilities enhance their daily lives and regain independence. Salary: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and detailed assessments of patients to evaluate their self-care capabilities and other functional needs.
- Develop clear, measurable treatment goals tailored to each patient’s specific circumstances.
- Design and implement adaptive treatment programs that evolve based on patient progress and clinical responses.
- Ensure continuity of care through regular evaluations and updates to treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation per legal and professional standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide holistic patient care and rehabilitation services.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State, or eligibility to apply before graduation/licensure.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for working with diverse patients and teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design creative and therapeutic treatment plans.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to collaborative treatment strategies.
Skills:
- Expertise in assessing patient needs and developing occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and technology relevant to occupational therapy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple cases diligently.
- Strong analytical skills to accurately diagnose and treat patient conditions.
