Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

San Antonio, TX Full-Time Regular $80,000.00 - $117,050.00
Where the Alamo City Meets the White Coat: Occupational Therapist in San Antonio
If you’ve ever spent a Friday night along the River Walk or felt the pulse of the Pearl District on a Saturday morning, you know that San Antonio isn’t just a city—it’s a heartbeat. We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a legacy that has been a cornerstone of South Texas for 125 years. We aren't a cold, corporate machine; we’re a 450-bed medical center that blends the warmth of a community hospital with the sharp intellect of an academic powerhouse. Whether you’re a native San Antonian or looking to plant roots where your paycheck actually covers a home with a view of the Hill Country, esta es tu casa.

The Daily Rhythm (But Smoother)
In our acute care units, we don’t believe in the "hamster wheel" of productivity. We trade the frantic pace for patient education and genuine connection. You’ll lead 5 to 6 evaluations a day, moving through Med/Surg, Ortho, Oncology, and Post-Op. For our more seasoned OTs, the ICU and Cardiac units are ready for your expertise. You’ll be supported by a massive team—a crew of 5 OTs, 11 PTs, and nearly 20 support staff—all operating on a consistent Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm schedule. With only one weekend shift every two months, you’ll have plenty of time for Sunday brunch in Southtown or a family BBQ at Brackenridge Park.

The "Countdown City" Package
We know that starting fresh takes more than just a handshake. To help you get settled under the bright South Texas sun, we’re offering:

Base Salary: $80,000 – $117,500
Student Loan Relief: We chip in $300 every month to help pay down your debt
Wellness on Campus: 24/7 free gym with CrossFit classes right on-site
New Grad Support: You won’t be thrown to the wolves. Our "buddy system" and dedicated preceptor program ensure you always have a mentor by your side

Life in the 210
San Antonio is the "Military City, USA" for a reason—it’s a place of service, history, and incredible culture. Here, you get the perks of a major metro—think world-class dining, the Spurs, and the historic Missions—without the soul-crushing traffic of Houston or the sky-high rents of Austin. When you aren’t at the hospital, you’re exploring the Museum Reach, hiking the Government Canyon trails, or grabbing breakfast tacos from your favorite neighborhood spot. It’s a city where being bilingual is a superpower and "neighbor" is a title earned through kindness.

Requirements:
Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist
Acute care experience is preferred
New Graduates are highly encouraged to apply!
Great attitude with a strong interest in working on a large, collaborative team.
A drive to grow into specialty work is a major plus.
Note: H1B Visa Sponsorship is not available at this time.
