About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an acute-care hospital in Fort Pierce, FL. This is a permanent opportunity for an OT with experience in acute care, inpatient, rehab, or a similar setting.

You’ll work with patients to improve functional ability, independence, mobility, and overall quality of life as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions
  • Support patients with functional mobility, ADLs, and discharge readiness
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab staff, patients, and families
  • Document patient progress and response to treatment
  • Manage daily caseload and prioritize patient needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
  • Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
  • Acute care, inpatient, rehab, or hospital-based experience preferred
  • BLS required within 30 days of start
  • Must be available for onsite interview

Compensation

  • $32.62 – $48.93 per hour
  • Full-time permanent role
  • Day shift
  • Rotating weekends
  • Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus, based on eligibility
  • Sign-on bonus may require a 2-year commitment
