The Role:
The Warehouse Safety Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment. This role focuses on identifying potential hazards (chemical, physical, and ergonomic), ensuring OSHA compliance, and implementing programs that prevent workplace injuries.
You will lead safety training initiatives, investigate incidents to determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce risk. This position also involves conducting regular safety audits, maintaining accurate reporting and OSHA logs, and recommending safety equipment and process improvements.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently while influencing a strong safety-first culture across the organization.
