With its 150+ beds, more than 240 physicians and specialists, and 800 employees, Our Client offers a full spectrum of services, including a 24/7 Emergency Room, a Heart Center, a Surgical Institute, a Rehabilitation Center and a Behavioral Health Center.
Job Responsibilities:
The OR Circulator provides patient care through utilization of the nursing process. The nursing process is demonstrated by the staff RN’s ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care. May supervise RNs, LPNs, technicians, unit secretaries, nursing students, and nursing assistants.
Education:
- Associates in nursing required, BSN preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 yrs OR experience ( must have at least 1 year).
- Must have OR experience.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the facility for on call.
- Candidate should have a positive attitude, has the ability to stay cool under pressure, work well with team members.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN License or compact license in the State of Louisiana.
- Current Basic Life Support.
- Current ACLS.
