Join our dedicated team in Eureka, CA, as an OB/GYN Physician, where you will play a pivotal role in women’s health. Salary: $325,000.00 - $370,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing pregnancies, overseeing the health during the prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal periods.
- Conducting deliveries and ensuring the safety and health of the newborn and mother during childbirth.
- Performing routine and specialized surgeries related to reproductive health, including but not limited to hysterectomies and laparoscopies.
- Providing preventive care and cancer screenings, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.
- Diagnosing and treating a broad range of gynecological disorders such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and uterine fibroids.
- Working collaboratively with other physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and hospital staff to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Participating in community outreach programs to educate on women's health issues and promote wellness in the region.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid and active medical license in the state of California.
- Proven experience in obstetrics, including managing high-risk pregnancies and deliveries.
- Strong surgical skills with a history of excellent outcomes in both routine and complex gynecological procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex medical topics to patients and their families.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certification or training in maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, or gynecologic oncology.
- Experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery is highly desired.
- Demonstrated leadership or mentorship roles within a healthcare setting.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by the patient community in Eureka, CA.
