Cerner Health Nurse Trainer
Near Sun Lakes, Arizona
Our client is HIRING now for a Cerner Nurse Trainer with Cerner Community Works experience. Position can be a Direct Hire for candidates that can work a HYBRID schedule and work on-site when needed. OR, the position can be fully REMOTE/CONTRACT ONLY with out of State candidates, the working hours of (8:00 am to 5:00 pm MST).
Salary is up to $100K a year depending on qualifications *****NextGen experience on the PM and EHR side is HIGHLY DESIRED*****
General Responsibilities:
Oversee implementation of newly developed policies and procedures to ensure consistent compliance across all departments
Collect and report on educational program data to assist management in workforce education planning
Educate and train managers, directors, and clinical staff regarding new technologies
Supervise and oversees education coordinators in order to allow for effective delivery of workforce training programs
Onsite needed for in-person trainings (flexibility required), selected candidate will have to go onsite occasionally to do workflow analysis within the different departments (on-site hours will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm which is required) travel/remote time does not apply
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program from a university or college
Associate’s degree required and a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Registered Nurse Licensure in AZ or qualified Compact Licensure
3 years of RN experience in a hospital/outpatient health care setting
2 years of health education experience
Certified Health Educator preferred
Experience with Cerner Community Works software along with education and policy training REQUIRED
Information Technology background is required
NextGen experience required
