Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for taking, evaluating, and recording medical histories and perform physical examination required to evaluate symptoms and diagnose.
Responsible for ordering appropriate laboratory studies, x-rays, and other special examinations.
Responsible for analyzing, interpreting data, formulating diagnoses and problem lists, and establishing plans for the management of adult health problems.
Responsible for treating medical problems within your scope of competence as a physician assistant and exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation and review findings as necessary with your supervising provider.
Responsible to counsel patients on medical problems, use of medications, expected effects of treatment, diet, and other health maintenance matters.
Responsible for performing health maintenance for well patients, including administering or supervising immunizations.
Responsible for prescribing medication(s) and monitoring side-effects of medication and adverse reactions.
Responsible for providing consultations on complex medical problems to other health care providers.
Responsible for providing health education promoting healthy lifestyles and importance of preventative initiatives in health care.
