Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Locum

Hospitalist Locum for a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in west-central Virginia to provide locum Nocturnist coverage.

Dates: 5/1/2025 - 9/30/2025

Assignment Overview:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7 on/7 off - Requires Minimum 7 shifts monthly, up to 14 monthly.
• Patient Volume: 3-4 admits per night
• Procedures: Vent management required, intubations preferred
• Will respond to codes and rapid responses
• EMR: Meditech
• Must Have VA license and DEA
• Cred Timeline: 4 weeks
• Paid travel & expenses: Full Travel

• PA-C or ACNP
• Must have active VA license and DEA
• Clean File, no malpractice, etc.
• Able to responds to code and rapid responses
• Procedures preferred.
• Must be able to do vent management; intubations preferred but EM will perform if needed
