About the Hospital and Department:

• Position will manage the day to day operations of the main Operating Rooms with a team of 50 FTEs
• Department performs general, ortho, neuro, vascular, gyn, urology, CV and robotic procedures

About the Nurse Manager, Surgery / OR Position:

• Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and should be able to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels.
• The Manager will focus on the daily operations of the department, perform coaching and mentoring of staff, ensure department goals are met, and maintain positive relationships across all levels.

Qualifications & Requirements for Nurse Manager, Surgery / OR

• BSN required (Master's preferred)
• RN active license required
• Minimum two (2) years of progressive surgical services leadership experience (at Supervisor level or above in an inpatient hospital surgical services setting)
• Minimum five (5) years of surgical services nursing experience (some of which must be main OR clinical nursing experience)
• Proven track record of success in OR leadership
• Strong focus on quality, patient safety, staff and collaborating across all levels to ensure and obtain the best patient outcomes
