Our client is a 275 bed nonprofit hospital that has been ranked as one of top three hospitals in Maryland by US News and World Report.

Due to retirement, they have engaged our firm to identify a superstar Manager of Labor and Deliver to help take their 3,000 delivery award winning unit to new heights of patient care and service excellence.

The Unit Manager of the Labor and Delivery unit assumes 24-hour responsibility for operations. He/she combines clinical expertise with leadership and nursing management principles to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care is delivered at a level that is consistent with professional recommended standards. They will develop these services in concert with results from patient, physician, and associate satisfaction surveys.

Requirements:

  • Must Possess:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BSN Required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of two years as a L&D nurse
  • Minimum of two years progressive leadership responsibilities

Licenses Required:

  • Active RN license in the State of Maryland or eligible
