Currently seeking a talented and dedicated Nurse Manager Burn Intensive Care Unit ICU Registered Nurse RN for a great opportunity in the Western FL area. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of current experience working in an acute care hospital and 3+ years of experience working in a Burn Intensive Care Unit in a leadership role.

Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Burn Intensive Care Unit ICU Registered Nurse RN

• Manage department operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals/objectives
• Supervise staff including performance and departmental accomplishments to meet facility and regulatory requirements
• Promote teamwork with physicians and all health care providers
• Act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees to ensure high-quality patient care
• Manage unit supplies and equipment to maximize productivity and minimize costs

Requirements of the Nurse Manager Burn Intensive Care Unit ICU Registered Nurse RN

• BSN required or received within 18 months of employment
• Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure, BLS
• ABLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Must have 2 years experience in acute burn care
• Previous related experience in related acute setting strongly preferred
• Management specialty certification required within 6 months of eligibility; unit specialty certification also preferred
• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read and comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC skills
