Our client has been serving the Central Wisconsin community for many years. Their services are focused on mental health care, addiction and substance abuse treatment, developmental disabilities care and skilled nursing care, but we also offer adult protective services, aquatic physical therapy and several community-based programs to support the community.

Due to incredible growth and a 70 million dollar expansion of the campus which will be completed soon, they are looking to fill their Nurse Manager of Behavioral Health Services to take their scheduling and operations to the next level.

The BHS Nurse Manager provides support and direction to BHS Registered Nurses while carrying out clinical duties appropriate to their role. The Nurse Manager ensures regulatory compliance with all organizational, professional, governmental and certifying agencies standards in the delivery and coordination of providing high quality patient care. Responsible for providing leadership to and 24-hour accountability for the operational outcomes of assigned nursing unit and patients.

Education and Experience Requirement
Minimum Education
Bachelors degree in Nursing earned at an accredited four year college or university.

Minimum Work Experience
Two years of progressively responsible nursing experience

Required Skills Required skills:
• Current BLS (CPR) Certification
• Current professional Nurse registration from the WI State Board of Nursing or eligible
Ability to use a computer-based system for data entry, planning, and documenting care. Effective oral and written communication skills.

Driving Requirements:
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license and appropriate auto insurance coverage as required by
• Must have the use of a personal vehicle.

Preferred:
• Seven to nine years' of progressively responsible nursing experience
• Masters in Nursing
• One to three years of supervisory nursing experience
