Nurse Manager - Multiple Departments- Full Time

Currently, we are looking for a Nurse Manager with at least two years of leadership experience. Ultimately, you must be able to ensure smooth nursing operation at our facility through day-to-day management and long-term planning.

OR (RN Nurse Manager):


The Operating Room Manager is a registered nurse that coordinates and runs all parts of a surgical suite to maximize the number of surgical cases while minimizing the required resources and costs.

The OR Manager will need consistent interaction with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, technicians, and patients to ensure patient safety and optimal patient outcomes yet maximize the efficiency of staff and materials. The OR Manager will need to ensure surgeons have the necessary access to clean and sterile operating rooms and surgical equipment so that procedures can take place in a timely manner and decrease patient delays. Ultimately, the Operating Room Manager is responsible for enhancing satisfaction among patients, staff, and physicians.


  • 2-3 Years Operating Room Nursing Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama or from a valid compact state
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), preferred
  • Supervisor Experience preferred

Physical Rehab (RN Nurse Manager):


Rehabilitation Center Managers manage the daily tasks and activities of a medical rehabilitation unit or facility. They organize and direct all of the operations of the rehabilitation center. They also evaluate employees and oversee training programs. Client complaints and employee needs or disciplinary actions are also handled by the Rehabilitation Center Manager.

Therapy Manager Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manages and administers strategic, operational, fiscal and personnel activities for Therapy Services Department.
  • Prepares and manages budgets, staff, and productivity. Ensures quality services are provided through daily operations.
  • Maintains all regulatory requirements for the development and implementation of policy, procedures and security protocols for pharmacy drugs and supplies.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.


  • Minimum: Bachelor’s in Physical or Occupational Therapy; or Masters in Speech Therapy
  • Desired: Master’s Degree in related field
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills. Must be able to uphold and communicate principles of rehabilitation services to all levels within and outside the hospital system.
  • Minimum: Four (4) years rehabilitation experience of which three (3) years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Desired: Management of more than one therapy discipline.
  • Current NM License in Physical or Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.

Orthopedics Med/Surg (RN Nurse Manager):


Administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments, including management of cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient/physician, and staff satisfaction, change management and any other relevant responsibilities related to this position. Serves as part of the entity management team and Shared Governance Model focused on promoting the mission, vision, and values, of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice, embracing a person-centered philosophy while promoting patient- family centered services across the continuum and enhancing value-driven outcomes. Responsible for succession planning, identifying talent, providing support, education, and resources to grow future nursing leaders. May be required to assists in staffing as necessary to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama or from a valid compact state.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
  • Supervisor Experience preferred
  • Candidate must be willing to oversee 2 departments – Med/Surg and Ortho
  • Experience in a Med/Surg Unit to include Ortho

Labor& Delivery (RN Nurse Manager):


The Manager, Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) 1 is responsible for creating and sustaining a healthy work environment for assigned nursing and unit-based personnel which fosters excellent professional nursing practice, shared decision-making, interpersonal teamwork and collaboration, and a safe and caring environment for patients, family and staff. The manager plans, develops, implements, evaluates and monitors policies and procedures, budgets and the allocation of resources, continuous quality and performance improvement initiatives, educational programs and shared governance councils to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives. Provides nursing care as needed.


· Bachelor of Science, Nursing, (BSN), Required

· 3 Years of Experience

· Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer

· Minimum of 3 years management experience in L&D in an acute care hospital environment.

· Minimum of 5 years in Labor/Delivery and/or High-Risk Antepartum unit.

· Current Alabama RN or Compact/Multi-State license

· Required AHA-BLS

· Required NRP
