Position Overview
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs comprehensive diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital-based imaging department.
Responsibilities:

Perform planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT imaging studies

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with state and federal regulations

Maintain strict adherence to ALARA and radiation safety standards

Monitor patients during imaging procedures

Collaborate with radiologists and physicians

Ensure accurate documentation and imaging quality
Required Qualifications

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) – NMTCB or ARRT(N)

Active or eligible California Nuclear Medicine license

BLS certification
-
Experience in PET/CT preferred

Hospital experience strongly preferred
