Northern California Construction Manager Operations Leader

Kennedy Jenks is looking for an experienced operations leader with a background in the construction of California water/wastewater projects to run the Northern California construction management group.

In addition to leading a well-established group, the individual will coordinate with other construction management, design-build, and design teams within the company, assist with business development, participate in client team meetings, and set the strategic direction for the group. In this operations-focused position, the individual will help the team build Northern California’s water/wastewater infrastructure to last for generations to come and will play a key role in taking an exceptionally capable group to the next level.

Kennedy Jenks’ dedicated team of CM specialists perform third party construction contract management, construction inspection, project controls, constructability and peer reviews, and value engineering for a wide range of water/wastewater treatment plants, distribution networks, and collection system projects. Recent Northern California CM projects include the construction oversight for the City of San Jose wastewater treatment plant, the City of San Mateo collection system/pump station/flow equalization upgrades and expansion, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Treasure Island Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the East Bay Municipal Users District water and wastewater system improvements. The team’s strong reputation derives from its experience delivering complex projects, on schedule, and with low change orders.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience
• Licensed PE or CCM desirable.
• Background in construction management for water/wastewater projects.
• Prior management experience is required.

Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $200,000 to $230,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.
