PT - Inpatient Rehab Complex Neuro Tallahassee FL Nonprofit + PSLF

Nealy Pierce is partnering with a nonprofit hospital system in the Tallahassee, FL area to fill a full-time Inpatient Rehab (IPR) Physical Therapist position. This is a permanent, W-2 hospital-based role centered on neurological rehabilitation, a manageable patient load, and a clinical environment built around mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration. New graduate PTs are welcomed alongside experienced IPR clinicians.

What's Worth Knowing About This Role:

  • Heavy neurological focus: stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), amputee rehab, and multi-trauma rehabilitation
  • PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) through nonprofit hospital employer
  • Sustainable caseload of 4 to 6 patients per day with 60 to 90 minute treatment sessions
  • Productivity expectation of approximately 6 contact hours per 8-hour shift, one of the more reasonable in inpatient rehab
  • Access to advanced rehabilitation technology and specialized neurological therapy tools
  • Recently updated clinical environment with private patient rooms
  • Close-knit interdisciplinary team of experienced PTs, OTs, and SLPs
  • Built-in mentorship from senior IPR clinicians committed to clinical development

Schedule:

  • Flexible start times in the morning (8 AM to 9 AM)
  • Permanent full-time hospital position

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Solid sign-on bonus structured over a multi-year commitment

What We're Looking For:

  • DPT or MPT from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Active or pending applicable state PT license
  • Acute care PTs with a relevant inpatient rotation will also be considered
  • Clinical precision combined with a big-picture view of rehabilitation
  • Strong communicator across clinical staff, patients, and families
  • Collaborative team player with a servant-leader mindset
