Network Engineer and Help Desk (2)

Network Engineer  position is open for a large IT Vendor that works the Hawaii commercial information technology sector.  The company is willing to hire an experienced network engineer or even an experience network administrator that has been working for an end user or someone that works for a vendor that works at one end user site.  This position will be more of a network engineer that will go out to many sites of an IT Vendor.  That means that the network engineer will have to be comfortable working with many different network systems.  The right person will also have to have a type of personality that can deal with a lot of different customers at their site. In other words the right candidate will need to have good customer facing skills.  The good part of working in a multiple systems type of environment is that you will learn a lot of new technologies and will many times be working with new state of the art envelop pushing technology so you will therefore keep abreast of the newest, latest and greatest cutting edge technology.  This will make sure you will be viable in the IT job market as a network engineer or network administrator.

Help Desk

They will also look at hiring a less experienced tech type to be a Help Desk person dealing with the companies clients over the phone.  That type of candidate would need to have light experience but have some education in the IT area and have good verbal communication skills to help customers over the phone.
