Job Description:
As a Network & Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure and systems. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of our company's network and technology infrastructure, allowing us to provide reliable services to our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, optimize network performance, and implement security measures.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain systems and servers, including virtualization platforms, storage systems, and backup solutions
- Conduct network assessments and propose enhancements or upgrades to improve network performance and security
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the company's network infrastructure and data
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications may be considered)
- Proven experience as a Network & Systems Engineer or a similar role
- Strong knowledge and experience with network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
