Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to neonatal patients.
  • Manage patient caseload in a busy hospital setting, attending to 10-25 patients daily.
  • Utilize expertise in acute care to make sound decisions in critical care situations.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Lead educational programs and workshops for staff and patient families.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in neonatology or intensive pediatric care.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Oregon or ability to obtain.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a healthcare team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of clinical experience in a neonatal ICU setting.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a clinical setting.
