Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to neonatal patients.
- Manage patient caseload in a busy hospital setting, attending to 10-25 patients daily.
- Utilize expertise in acute care to make sound decisions in critical care situations.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Lead educational programs and workshops for staff and patient families.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in neonatology or intensive pediatric care.
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Oregon or ability to obtain.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a healthcare team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of clinical experience in a neonatal ICU setting.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a clinical setting.
Skills:
- Expertise in neonatal and pediatric healthcare practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in critical care situations.
