The Role:

As a member of the sales team, you will establish a national account/regional sales strategy, meet with customers virtually and on-site to help them grow their business with products you are proud to deliver. The National Sales Manager candidate is based remotely with 30% travel expectations including quarterly visits to our main offices in Ohio. The ideal candidate will reside within an hour travel distance to a major airport.
Position Responsibilities:
- Hunt, prospect, manage and grow existing accounts and develop new business within regional and national customers. This role is hunting focused; 70% hunting for new business, 30% managing and growing existing business.
- Leverage your prior “Own Brand, Private Label” and/or branded CPG management experience
- Relationship builder in this remote sales position with in-market travel expectations ~30% of the week
- Utilize “consultative/challenger sales solution strategy” for customer “own brand” and branded snack categories
- Revenue plan/sales quota delivery expectation
- Lead your national account plan by possessing a “sales closer” mindset with ability to fastadapt and develop strong customer relationships

- Participate in team selling activities to leverage success at retail selling! Minimum
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience managing “Own Brand/Private Label” or Branded portfolio
- Currently calling on retail customers for Private Label, Produce/Fresh Category Managers • Bachelor’s degree is preferred. We will consider executives with extensive work experience and current relationships in lieu of a degree.
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, virtual and in-person presentation skills and possess sales closing skills.
- Travel expectations 30-40% as business needs dictate; includes overnight and air-travel as needed
