Key Responsibilities:
● Lead the development and execution of sales strategies targeting the SLED market to achieve
established revenue and growth objectives.
● Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in state and local
government agencies, including law enforcement, public safety, and state and local courts.
● Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance to ensure achievement of
both individual and team sales goals while promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
● Oversee the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closure,
ensuring smooth transitions to post-sales implementation and customer success.
● Remain well-versed in market trends, regulations, and funding opportunities affecting the SLED
sector, aligning sales efforts with evolving customer needs and priorities.
● Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer
success, to ensure the company's solutions meet market demands and drive customer
satisfaction.
Qualifications:
● A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 7 years focused on selling complex
solutions to state and local government agencies.
● Proven leadership experience in managing and developing sales teams, driving consistent
performance, and achieving sales targets within the public sector.
● Deep understanding of the SLED market, including knowledge of government procurement
processes, funding mechanisms, and relationships.
● Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate complex
solutions to diverse stakeholders.
● Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the unique
needs of state and local governments, including the judicial sector.
● Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple opportunities
simultaneously.
● Ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams to optimize the sales process and customer
experience.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications
are highly preferred.
