POSITION SUMMARY
As the National Sales Executive (VP/SVP/EVP), you will drive new business across the title insurance industry – targeting national/regional lenders, banks, credit unions, and servicers with a focus on centralized refinance centers as well as distributed retail channels.
You are a proven hunter with an existing book of business and deep industry relationships. You thrive on building, expanding, and accelerating growth with a high-energy, entrepreneurial-style national agent.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Strategic Selling & Sales Expertise
- Minimum 10+ years of experience selling title, escrow, or closing services to national/regional lenders, banks, credit unions, or servicers (both centralized and retail channels).
- Proven success as a high-level producer and hunter.
Industry Connectivity
- Deep, active network across national/regional lenders, credit unions, mortgage servicers, and refi-oriented institutions.
- Established credibility with senior decision-makers and proven ability to open new relationships.
Skills & Tools Proficiency
- Exceptional verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and business intelligence tools.
Education & Mobility
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally (~50%).
Plus Attributes
- Familiarity with technology-enabled services, digital closing solutions, and integration platforms, AI, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Hunting
- Activate and expand your existing book of business across national/regional lenders, banks, credit unions, servicers, centralized refi operations, and retail segments.
- Identify, engage, and close new clients through persistent and strategic outreach.
Strategic Selling
- Leverage consultative selling and C-suite relationships to navigate long sales cycles and complex institutional structures.
- Design and deliver compelling value propositions tailored to origination, refinance, purchase, and servicing segments.
Pipeline & Forecast Management
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue targets monthly, quarterly, and annually; consistently set and exceed aggressive goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, marketing, and product teams to onboard new client accounts rapidly and seamlessly.
- Collaborate on marketing materials, presentations, and targeted messaging to support client acquisition and brand positioning.
Industry Leadership & Networking
- Maintain high visibility in industry associations, conferences, and events; position company as a trusted national/regional partner.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive offerings; articulate differentiators such as technology integration, underwriting speed, and service quality.
