Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP Sales, North America or Director, National Sales of a leading third-party logistics last mile provider. Has a strong presence in both the United States and Canada. Use industry experience and technology to seamlessly connect a network of local delivery providers in local markets. Believes in one solution fits all client needs. Customizes services and technology to meet their unique requirements. Services include point to point hot shot, same day and next day delivery, two-man delivery, branch & store replenishment, asset recover & returns, home delivery, polled distribution, reverse logistics, cross dock, storefront delivery, dedicated routes, and outsourced network management.
The National Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting new opportunities, gaining access to C-Level decision makers and develop strong relationships, develop value-added solutions to customer issues, focus on long-term partnerships. Develop Business Plans outlining focus within key verticals. Also may perform customer business reviews and act on any growth opportunities, prospect for new business opportunities within key verticals, oversee proposal development and response to RFPs and RFIs, develop Scope of Work documents and assist in costing and pricing development, respond to customer needs and develop a methodical overview and solution for problems.
