Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the COO of a specialized supplier of industrial dry bulk and hazmat transport across the U.S. and Canada.

Responsible for the solicitation, brokering and management of all freight for customers. Will maintain the proper documentation pertaining to all loads moved; negotiate customer and carrier freight rates. Will call and work with existing customers to obtain loads. Will work with team to generate new customer leads, and follow up with both carriers and customers on assigned loads, maintaining productive working relationships with customer and carrier representatives. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Freight Brokerage Sales, Account Management, and Operations (5+ years)
  • Experience in “cradle to grave” environment
  • Mode of transportation (i.e. Truckload, Flatbed, Dryvan, Hazmat)
  • Pricing and margin integrity
  • Negotiations
  • Customer development, profitability, & market penetration
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Residence: Remote Office, USA
