We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated GI APP to join our team. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient GI services, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The GI APP will play a key role in coordinating treatment plans, conducting inpatient consults, supporting outpatient follow-up, and ensuring continuity of care for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.

• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive GI care plans.
• Perform daily inpatient rounds, including reviewing medical histories, conducting GI-focused assessments, and ordering/monitoring appropriate diagnostic tests and treatments.
• Provide support for inpatient GI consults and manage patient admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Deliver outpatient follow-up care, monitor treatment response, and participate in the long-term management of acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
• Coordinate care for procedures such as endoscopy or colonoscopy as appropriate to the role.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in patient education, care coordination, and communication with families to ensure a seamless experience across care settings.

Qualifications:

• PA-C or CRNP from an accredited institution.
• Active medical license in Pennsylvania.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Prior GI experience is preferred but not required.
