.Net Software Engineer (Back-End)

Endevis is partnered with a world class organization to fill a .NET Software Engineer opportunity within their growing software team. This position will be responsible for all aspects of software engineering, including technical design, development, testing, and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, and support of technical projects through to completion.
  • Develop software applications with an emphasis on back-end development.
  • Design, develop, test, and support software systems, and applications.
  • Produce excellent quality code with a focus on stability, security, and maintainability.
  • Participate in the planning and design of future software and technical architectures.
  • Support QA in the development of integration test plans, test conditions, and expected test results.
  • Provide support for applications including on-call after hours support on a rotational basis.
  • Mentoring less-experienced developers in software development techniques and processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience with developing applications using .NET C#.
  • Proficient within software architecture concepts such as MVC, SOA, SOAP, and REST.
  • Experience working with data-driven systems using SQL, and Relational Databases.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, including web application design patterns.
  • Experience with Technologies such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS, and Open Source libraries.
  • Experience using Source control tools such as Team Foundation Server, SVN, or Git.
  • Experience working within an Agile or Scrum environment strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
