Mead & Hunt is looking for a project development expert for NCDOT transportation projects to join their well-established transportation team. Mead & Hunt is a well-known leader in transportation with a strong backlog of local NCDOT projects. This individual will serve as an expert for the project development process for NCDOT projects and will have tremendous career advancement opportunities, with the potential to grow a group in the future.
In this role, the individual will manage all aspects of the project development process and serve as a contract manager for NCDOT projects. This may include developing scopes, fee estimates and tasks, overseeing public involvement efforts, providing NEPA/SEPA documentation, working closely with stakeholders, subconsultants, current and new clients, and assisting with business development and marketing efforts to continue to grow the project development team.

Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, Biology, or related degree
• 8+ years of experience
• Applicable licensure such as PE or AICP preferred
• Experience managing the project development phase of NCDOT transportation improvement projects
