Peoria, Illinois (Individual can work a hybrid schedule anywhere in the region as long as the individual is able to come to Peoria at least one day a week)
Crawford Murphy & Tilly (CMT) is hiring for a newly created role that will serve as a project manager for a variety of local municipal projects and will be the stormwater program manager for the City of Peoria. CMT has been partnering with the City of Peoria to plan and implement an aggressive stormwater infrastructure improvement program. The CMT team has been deeply involved in the process every step of the way and seeks a dedicated professional to provide oversight and on-site management for the city’s stormwater infrastructure. The program includes a multimillion-dollar schedule of funded projects over the next decade with a special emphasis on green infrastructure. This position will use an asset management system to develop an annual capital budget, manage capital improvement projects to replace aging infrastructure, and develop strategies to reduce runoff volumes and rates.
The engineer can have a background in any area of civil engineering with an understanding of storm drainage principles and possess the desire to manage stormwater and municipal related projects. The individual will need to be in Peoria at least one day a week; with a hybrid schedule/ flexibility available. This role will have a significant impact on Peoria’s environmental stewardship and stormwater quality as the municipal stormwater program manager.

Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 7+ years of experience
• Licensed professional engineer
