JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for Mount Technician in Huntsville, AL. In this position, you will be responsible for manual labor using assigned tools. This job requires the individual to reach, lift, stand, kneel, bend, stoop, sit, and lie down (on a creeper) to accomplish the assembly of emergency vehicles. The individual will perform a variety of tasks and will be in various positions throughout the workday.

Responsibilities of a Mount Technician includes, but are not limited to, the following:

Individuals working in the Mount department should be proficient with using many different types of power tools (both electrical and air powered.) This person should also have his/her own hand tools to work with.
The candidate should have some experience working with diesel chassis and chassis frames. Previous experience is helpful related to carpentry tasks, such as trim work, using a tape measure proficiently and being familiar with drill bits. Experience in mechanical assembly, metal cutting, drilling, or mounting is helpful. Some experience with MIG welding is required. The candidate will use different types of tools and perform a variety of tasks to accomplish the assembly of emergency vehicles. The company will furnish the electrical and air powered tools.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
