Job Description

We are currently searching for a Motor Repair Technician to join our team in.

This position will repair motors to 100% original use, assuring total satisfaction of customers. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Test and analyze motors to diagnose problems.
  • Effectively repair a mix of most commonly encountered motor problems without assistance.
  • Repair some motors not trained on and effectively remanufacture all motors trained on.
  • Keep test equipment in good working condition by performing preventative maintenance.
  • Completion of estimates, repairs and all associated required paperwork in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory.
  • Must be available to work overtime, if required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two years trade school or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Knowledge of electric theory, electric motors, generator theory and semi-conductors.
  • Experience repairing motors, preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanics, hand tools, rotary machinery theory and vibration analysis.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in various working environments.
  • This position requires you to be able to lift parts in excess of 75 pounds, on occasion.
  • Ability to lift, sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs or ladders using multiple body parts in a coordinated manner while operating machinery.
