Mortgage Servicing Data Architect

The Mortgage Servicing Data Architect is responsible for working with the client’s mortgage servicing reporting teams to understand how default servicing monthly reports are created and be able to recommend efficiency and automation opportunities.

*** Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No C2C – corp to corp, No 1099, No W9. ***

The successful candidate for this role must be able to work with the Data Architecture team to compare data sources between the client’s data in Snowflake and the client’s network service to identify data gaps and convert the data sources.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review and assess the hundreds of mortgage servicing reports to include the report layout, rules that drive the reporting, and data sources feeding the reporting
• Perform side-by-side meetings with default reporting team staff, operations staff, and all those necessary to obtain the big picture of the entire mortgage servicing reporting structure, making recommendations to enhance and automate reporting
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure all new reports, report revisions, enhancements, or deletions are tracked

Qualifications:

• 7 + years of mortgage servicing, default servicing, and reporting experience, including the ability to solve highly complex reporting system problems and understand the related impact on investors and external customers within the general framework of corporate, regulatory, and investor policies.
• 7+ years of mortgage servicing experience with GSE (FNMA/FHLMC), GNMA, Private Investor loans, and bank-owned loans
• Experience with mortgage servicing, default reporting, and workflow systems
• Experience with SQL, able to look at code to know what part of the code needs to be reprogrammed, and expert skills in Snowflake (Data Warehouse)
• Expert skills in MS Excel, including utilizing the following functions: V-Lookup, H-Lookup, Concatenating formulas, Conditional Formatting, and Pivot Tables.
