The Mortgage Servicing Operations Leader role is responsible for management and oversight of all servicing activity within the mortgage servicing areas.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility for this position is to manage all staff and management in the servicing areas. This role will manage all operational procedures and workflows, creating and revising process flows, creating, and revising policies and procedures, managing the processing of customer service, escrow, flood insurance and loan boarding activities, loss management, and interacting with all investors and executive management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage servicing leadership and MSP experience required
  • Prior experience participating in an MSP Mortgage Servicing System conversion is strongly preferred
  • Prior audit/exam experience, including exam responses, writing audit control verbiage, prioritizing, and curing audit findings via the remediation process
  • Extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations surrounding performing servicing, default servicing,, tax, escrow, flood , customer service and loan boarding
  • Proven ability to effectively provide and manage operations, and culture during a mortgage servicing system conversion, maintain/increase production, reduce losses, manage reporting
  • Extensive knowledge of all investor rules for GOV, GSE, Private and Bank-owned portfolios
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to interface confidently with clients, management, and auditors
